These terms apply to your use of the Tourly mobile application. By using the app you agree to them.

The service

Tourly provides self-guided walking tour content: narrated stories, maps, and suggested routes for cities around the world. Browsing the catalog is free. Individual cities can be unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms. Unlocks are one-time, non-subscription purchases tied to your store account, and can be restored on a new device signed in to the same account. Refunds are handled by the respective store according to its refund policy.

Content accuracy

We research and fact-check our content carefully, but the real world changes: opening hours, access, prices, renovations and exhibits move faster than any guide. Content is provided for general information and entertainment. Always check current conditions before you build your day around a specific visit, and follow local signage, rules and safety guidance while walking.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own safety while using walking routes, including paying attention to traffic and your surroundings. Use headphones responsibly in public spaces.

Intellectual property

The app, its narration texts and its design are our property or licensed to us. Photographs may come from openly licensed sources; attribution is shown in the app where required by the license. Your unlock grants a personal, non-transferable license to use the content within the app. It does not permit copying, redistributing, or commercial use of the content.

Availability

We aim to keep the app and its content available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of downloads or future updates.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
